The Republican Plan

I promise you will laugh for eighteen minutes. This video is well worth watching in its entirety.
As the GOP looks to cut the Federal budget, they are aiming to reduce a total of $60 billion off the 2010 slate. At the same time, the main goal of the cut seems to be geared towards decimating some of the initiatives of environmental regulation and the agency behind environmental progress. The proposal would end up slicing the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by 30 percent. This would by far be the largest cut of any agency and would total about $3 billion.
It is unfortunate that our society has reached a point where the effort necessary to extract oil from the Earth, ship it to a refinery, convert the raw product into plastic, manipulate it into an appropriate shape, transport it to a business, purchase it, and consume it is considered to be less effort than what is required to just wash the eating instrument when we are done with it.
It is nice to see Republicans take care of their own. They felt it was imperative to change the policy in the House cafeteria and terminate the "compostable" utensil program in lieu of plastic utensils. Thank you to the Party of No. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
I would not be surprised if this video is one of the reasons why the GOP wants to get rid of the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) this fiscal year. I can’t believe the liberal propaganda that Sesame Street was pushing on me as a kid. I guess that is why I am a liberal now. Good job Sesame Street!
I admire the revisionist history employed by the far right as their most celebrated Republican president of my lifetime turns or would have turned 100. I am no fan of Reagan but I am shocked by the romanticization of this man. He is the second worst President (after W.) in contemporary American history.
He is so damn awful that his son, Ronald Reagan, Jr., is a liberal progressive that champions causes ignored by his father. I remember a Ronald Reagan who broke the Air Traffic Controllers Union, increased the Federal Budget Deficit by a staggering 3 trillion dollars, increased government spending, illegally sold arms to Iran and used the proceeds to fund death squads in Central America.
The local Harris County Republican Party is enterting the 21st century and what better way to engage in technology then to bring their constiuents along for the ride.
They have scheduled “Facebook 101” seminars in order to train their base … so they could engage in the political arena on the internet.
In an email blast, Jared Woodfill stated:
