I have been getting feedback from many people lately that former Barack Obama supporters are crossing the line because they believe John McCain's assertions that he will raise taxes.
I do not understand this. It is common knowledge that over 90% of Americans will benefit from an Obama tax plan. Now these same people are shooting themselves in the foot by voting for McCain. Why is that?
Call me cynical but I think some of those folks did not have a valid reason to support McCain. They may have some prejudice or racism that does not want them to see an African-American as president. So, they will find any excuse.
Others will publicly claim that they like Obama or even support him just so they will appear as someone that does not let race dictate their political view when deep down it does. Read More »
