How to Steal $700 Billion in 3 Steps?
If you want to be rich, take notes ... like any bank robbery, you must plan it and most importantly execute it with little mistakes.
First, you want to be a bank, preferably in the United States. Second, you want to start giving away all your money so that the Government has to step in to give you some more money because you messed up pretty bad the first time around. Finally, take the money and when anyone comes around snooping around asking questions about what you did with the money ... plead the fifth.
Pretty simple, right?
The Associated Press reports:
"[It] contacted 21 banks that received at least $1 billion in government money and asked four questions: How much has been spent? What was it spent on? How much is being held in savings, and what's the plan for the rest?
None of the banks provided specific answers."
It is sad that they could not provide specific answers to questions that are pretty straightforward. They are not asking them to provide a business plan or the account information of every single person that has received money.
As Alan Stewart Carl claims, "Too bad the chicken littles who run this country were far more concerned with getting the money out rather than tracking where it went."
What if the economy goes downhill not because we were not proactive enough about distrubuting the money but because we did not know how to distrubute it effectively?
