My Prediction of Election 2008
By DAVID ORTEZ on November 04, 2008
My prediction for this election is conservative and cynical at times. I do not expect a landslide as some other folks do but that is probably because I am wary. Nonetheless, here is my speculation of what will happen.

Electoral College
- Barack Obama – 352
- John McCain – 186
Popular Vote
- Barack Obama – 51%
- John McCain – 48%
- Other – 1%
Senate Results
- Democrats – 57 (+9)
- Republicans – 40 (-9)
- Independents - 2
House Results
- Democrats – 257 (+21)
- Republicans – 178 (-20)
It will all be over at 11 EST/10 pm CST and the surprise for the night Missouri will go Blue and thus not break their 100+ year streak of selecting the President. Depending on voter turnout, the South will dangerously lean close to the Left and Democrats will entertain it as a battleground worth fighting.
