Sarah Palin vs. Tina Fey
If you did not see the newest skit by Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live then stop whatever you are doing and hit play. If you are one of the millions of people that ended up watching it . . . it was hilarious right?
Wrong!
It was sad folks. Tina Fey took the Sarah Palin and Katie Couric interview and made a skit that was 90% verbatim to the real thing.
If it was funny when Tina Fey was doing it, was it not funny when Sarah Palin said those words?
Not really, because it was reality. Tina Fey was doing it to provide comedy, Sarah Palin was doing it because she is unqualified. How can anyone take Sarah Palin serious when you can not take Tina Fey serious and she stated exactly what Palin said.
At this point I think Tina Fey has as much experience as the real Sarah Palin. She has nailed her mannerisms and vocabulary, mind you that it is only the second time she impersonates Palin.
How long until Republicans start feeling uneasy with Sarah Palin and her lack of credentials?
How long until American voters begin to worry about the idea of a McCain-Palin administration?
John McCain may be benefitting from the economic meltdown since it takes the American people’s attention away from Palin’s shortcomings, but how long can this charade go on for?
I am not calling for Sarah Palin to step down because I do not want to see a woman hold a high political position. I do it because I expect a qualified person (no matter sex) that can take on the challenges of the office.
Sarah Palin does not cut it unfortunately. There are still 4 weeks left in this election season and any major gaffe committed by Sarah Palin will be harder to rectify as we near November 4
Check out how Keith Olbermann juxtaposes both the real Sarah Palin interview and the Tina Fey one on Countdown . . . I am not sure if I want to cry or laugh.
